Atlanta Airport Youth Art Galleries

GAEA membership is a requirement to participate in this exhibition.

Our GAEA members showcase incredible artwork from their students. This prestigious exhibit attracts 4 million visitors annually! GAEA proudly operates two galleries at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, strategically located on Concourse T and the International Terminal (Concourse E).

With the capacity to display up to 220 works, these exclusive exhibit spaces, available only to GAEA members, undergo transformations twice a year. This provides a remarkable opportunity for over 800 students to have their creations displayed.

While the focus is primarily on K-12 student art year-round, college students are also encouraged to apply, ensuring a diverse representation of talent. This unique experience not only honors their hard work but also introduces their art to a vast audience, inspiring future generations of artists. FIFA World Cup Art for Terminals T & E

Due to unforeseen staffing changes over the next several months, the Youth Art Galleries on Concourses T and E will be paused until further notice. The current “Sports” exhibit has just been installed and will likely remain on display for approximately one year. We are hopeful that we will be able to put out a new call for work next spring.

If you would like to have work ready for a future call, the current gallery formats are either 18” x 24” vertical or 19” x 17” horizontal.

Thank you for your continued participation in and support of this program. We will share notice through an Art Blast and on the website when we are ready to accept new submissions.

Visit Our Educator Exhibit on Concourse D

As for the newly added Member Exhibit Gallery, we moved forward a little sooner than anticipated. The airport has additional work to complete on Concourse D, and the display therefore had to be deinstalled earlier than expected. Unfortunately, the frames were also made incorrectly by the framer, which means the artwork could not easily be changed out as originally planned.

Because of this, the work displayed in the brief inaugural exhibit will be returned to the members/artists in the frames. This will be a one-time arrangement. New frames will be made, hopefully a little larger, and we anticipate restarting the exhibit sometime in the next year or so.
